STUDENT ATTENDANCE:
All students must attend class regularly to maintain the benefits of applying technique in all classes. Any student arriving 10 or more minutes to class may not be allowed to participate. If a student misses class due to illness or any other excused absence, it is the student's responsibility to meet with his/her teacher o arrange a make-up class. All make-up classes must be taken within the month of the missed class.
TUITION:
Statements will be emailed on a monthly basis. All tuition is due on the first of each month. To avoid late fees, payments must be RECEIVED by the tenth of the month. Late fees of $10.00 will be applied to all delinquent account. Tuition may be paid by cash, check, MC or Visa
STUDIO HOLIDAYS:
Rizing Starz will follow the same basic holiday schedule as the Hillsborough County School system with some exceptions.
STUDENT DRESS CODE:
All students will be required to follow a dress code when attending class.
JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY& TAP : Solid leotard (any color / style) and suntan or black tights. Solid black jazz pants, Rizing Starz sweats or shorts may be worn over tights.
BALLET: Black leotard, pink tights. Chiffon skirts, rip-stop nylon shorts are acceptable for center floor. All students must have pink leather or canvas ballet slippers. RAD DRESS CODE must be adhered to - please see RAD handout
COMBINATION CLASSES: Any solid colored leotard, suntan, pink, white or black tights. All combo students must have pink Ballet slippers and tan tap shoes. All tap shoe ribbons must be replaced with elastic.
ACROBATICS: Same as Jazz. Proper Acro shoes must be worn.
HIP HOP: Students are allowed to show their individuality in Hip Hop class, within reason! No offensive clothing. If we feel that a student is dressed inappropriately, they will be dismissed from class.
BOYS: White T-shirt, black shorts/pants, appropriate shoes.
Hair must be pulled into a ponytail for all classes, with the exception of Ballet, in which hair must be in a bun, if possible.
Hanging jewelry will not be permitted in class.T
